The complete training

The violin making school is a three-year training course that begins with a vocational certificate (CAP) and leads to a Diploma in Arts and Crafts, at bac+2 level.

The quartet violin making program is completed over three years and aims to obtain a DNMADE (National Master of Music and Instrument Designation) in quartet violin making.

  • The program is open to all baccalaureate students (professional, general, or professional, BMA).
  • The program is open to any candidate with a previous academic and/or professional background.
  • The program is open to any candidate from abroad (EU and non-EU) with sufficient French proficiency.

This is a highly specialized program with high technical and professional standards: students will work primarily in a workshop to perfect their exceptional skills.

During the final year of the program, students will complete a project: the construction of an instrument chosen by the student after approval by the academic committee, plus a thesis focused on the instrument.
